Trash Tiki lightly tiki themed immersive walkthrough and chill space made from discards and reclaimed/ reused materials, and was installed at Same Same But Different Sept 2025. The space includes lots of texture, lights, a 2-way infinity mirror, and seating on a built in sofa and at a bartop. It was located off the boardwalk overlooking Lake Perris, and was approx 12’ x 20’. This is a spin off of an ongoing variable scale installation I have been showing since 2021 called Transitional Objects, that work invites people to leave an object they no longer want and for viewers to claim those objects. This version is exclusively a hang out space, and does not include object exchange.
